During Mass Effect Marathon 2, we auctioned off a scale model of the Normandy SR-2 that was hand crafted by our good friend Dan. The auction alone brought in over $1,000 for Child’s Play Charity and was one of the most desired prizes we gave away the entire event.
After MEM2, Dan started to finish up the Normandy SR-2 and then shipped it out to auction winner Da Big Dragon. While we were excited to auction it off, our entire team was definitely saddened to see it leave. We also realized that we hadn’t shown our fans exactly what it looked like in the end. So to tide you over this weekend while you wait for MEM2.5 Part 3, we are proud to present a photo gallery of the Normandy SR-2 Scale Model.
Please be sure to spread the link around, leave comments, and tell Dan just how awesome the model is. If we get enough people to show support for it, he may make the Normandy SR-2 in Alliance colors for Mass Effect Marathon 3 in November!

It was handmade by one of our staff–it’s one of a kind and someone bid on during the marathon last year. We may be auctioning off another one at this year’s marathon, though!
